The time has come for the 2024 Baugrundtagung in Bremen. From September 25 – 27, 2024, the Baugrundtagung offers a unique opportunity to discuss the latest developments, research results and best practices in the exciting field of geotechnics. The conference brings together experts, professionals and interested parties to discuss current challenges and present innovative solutions. You can look forward to inspiring presentations and stimulating discussions with leading minds in the industry. This conference not only offers the opportunity to deepen your specialist knowledge, but also to make valuable contacts and expand your professional network.
As the “Junge DGGT” working group, we are committed to promoting young talent in geotechnics and would like to actively support this topic again at this year’s Baugrundtagung. The aim is to give you students the opportunity to take part in the most important and largest geotechnical conference in Germany.
So watch out: You can win one of 15 conference packages for two people!
Thanks to the support of numerous sponsors, we can enable a total of 30 students to attend the Baugrundtagung – completely free of charge. All you have to do is register for our raffle in pairs (both must be studying a geotechnics-related study programm) by 14.06.2024.

The winners of the raffle will receive a complete conference package for two students including:
- Costs for the conference ticket
- two nights in a double room (25.-27.09.)

WHEN AND WHERE?
The 38th Baugrundtagung 2024 will take place from September 25-27, 2024 in Bremen. You can register for the raffle from 08.04.-14.06.2024 via our website. The winners will be announced at the end of June.
WHAT OFFERS ARE THERE FOR YOU?
As the Young DGGT, we would like to actively support you in making contact with potential employers. To this end, we will offer guided tours of the fair for the winners of the prize draw and visit our sponsors together with you. In addition, there will be a social evening on September 25th, where you can exchange ideas with us and other young engineers in a relaxed atmosphere.
OUR CONDITIONS:
To take part in the raffle, you must be a student of a civil engineering, environmental engineering, engineering geology or other geotechnics-related degree program in September (proof required). No cash payment of the prize is possible. Legal recourse is excluded.
